There's the answer to the OP~nice and simple. It demands a few caveats however:

1.) Somebody has to assist the person; the crystal desert will eat your lunch if you are under level 15+. This means guilds are enabling this. Someone has to change this guys pampers and scrape him off the pavement after each fight. Doesn't sound like my idea of fun...

2.) Anet should probably nerf this unless they agree that once you have made it through the game once you should have an option for an "instant level up" as per the poster's claim.
DAoC has a similar feature - once you reach max level, any new character can start at 20th if desired. With only 20 levels however, I believe GW is cheating themselves in this regard. It's not like its difficult to earn 20 levels for petes sake. Go play Lineage 2 if you think this is a grind!

Something common to all online games is player knowledge:
Once you get to maximum level in a game, you don't "forget" how to do it; the next character is easier and faster, and any after that quicker still.

Given that there is only 20 levels in the game, the only person being cheated is really the player who cheapens the game by doing this, or enabling others to do it.

May your skills prevail,

Talesin

Boohoo. So what if people are ascending at low levels? What skin is it off your nose? How is it 'cheapening the game'? It doesn't matter in the slightest.

As for level 10 players running around in level 20 armor, once again, i really cant see why anyone would care. Ok, so they've got the advantage in the low level arenas, so what? No one stays in those arenas for long anyway.

if its possible then whats the problem? why care.
u only meet these ppl in the early pvp anyway, ive had great fun killing some of them when they run around parading theyre fiery dragon swords and fancy stuff.

if ure group is not total chaos, u just use the rigth skills.
mesmers and necros make a horrible mess even at low-lvl..

The lower level doesn't have to move from the zone line, all the high levels have to do is finish the mission and he'll be brought with them. Someone still has to assist him but there's no babysitting required.

No, it isn't. But how about 40 levels? Or 60? Please don't tell me I have to include the rudimentary arithmetic here.

It's also a lot more boring, because you know what's going to happen. The thrill of discovery is gone, while things like awkward cutscenes and idiot teammates will never go away.

Really? I've got two characters at level 20, both I ran through PvE at the "normal" pace. I had my enjoyment out of PvE, the only reason I continue to play it is to unlock the runes skills and items I need to PvP.

20 mins to get our of pre-searing
60 hr to run from ascalon to sanctum cay
30 mins to run sanctum cay
30 mins to unlock all desert missions
30 mins to run dunes
30 mins to run elona
30 mins to run river
10 mins to beat mirror
---------------------

4 hr to to get from 1 to 20.

100+ hours to run skill quests, run ice missions, grind for skill points, pokemon elites, etc. the way i see it, i just saved myself like 60 hours out of 200 or so. it still takes a long time to get all the skills for your two classes. so, i'm still fully "enjoying" the pve experience.

anywayz...changes coming on wednesday...not sure if it'll help a lot but it'll help a lil...

I apologize if this is flaming, if it is... Please inform me.

On to my point, out of the many ignoranus's ive seen... Lots of people on this forum are ignorant. Everyone who is saying that there is nothing wrong with this, i totally agree... Why should they be stopped? Are they not the ones playing on their character? As are they spending their own money to buy the armor... Of course it does get a little messed up that they rock PvP... If you dont like it, do it yourself. Most people are also mad due to the fact that nobody will ascend them... I think it is all a matter of hate, why do you care? Do it yourself if you want to be level 20 so bad, otherwise they arent bothering you so really just leave them alone...

P.S. I'm just defending them , I havent ascended my character yet for i havent completed the game yet.

Most people who ascend level 3s are doing it to unlock skills for PvP for those of you who still think its possible to unlock all skills on one char heres some numbers for you.

There are about 75 Skills for Each profession with 6 Professions thats about 450 Skills.

Each profession can get about 40 skills from quest but about half of those skills are from quest that are non profession specffic with a skill reward that varies by professsion once this quest is done it cant be redone with a new secodnary. For example if you did the quest helping the people of Ascalon as a Mo/me To get Mending and Energy Tap. you cant redo it as a Mo/E to get Lava front.

ok heres the numbers.

40x2= 80 (40 skills from quests for each of your orginal 2 professions)
20x4= 80 (20 skills each from other 4 professions)
25x1= 25 (beating all 25 missions)
19x1= 19 (Skill points received for ascesnion or Grind)
1x1 = 1 (skill points from Devona for Tithe for Ashford Abbey quest)
2x1 = 2 (2 free socs from Magi Malquire one before quest one after)

Total: 207

Still 243 SKill Points away from from unlocking all skills

for an ascedned level 20 to get 243 skill points he would only need 21,000,000 (yes 21 Million) Xp

At most the most hard core non bot Pve er would have 3 million XP if they been playing since release maybe 4 if they abused Flesh Golems.

Unless Anet adds tons of new Quest can we stop saying its possible to unlock all skills on one char?

now if you make 3 chars to unlock all skills it becomes much easier you would get 127 skills/skill points for beating the game and need to level up to about 600,000k xp

now 1.8 million xp on 3 char vs 21 million on one char whats your choice?

And it didnt take all that long, plus I dont have to go BACK and do things. Doing them in order, just seems....logical to me. And considering you can walk to places without missions, its not that much to ask I would think.

You can cross the Shiverpeaks without doing any of the missions and fighting your way through. But to instant zap from 3 to 20 just seems wrong to me.

This just in! Breaking news! Everyone is not you. get over it. just because you enjoy doing something a certain way gives you no right to impose those same methods on others, especially when their chosen playstyle has no tangible effect, negative or otherwise, on how you play the game.
